Faith

£0.00

9 Activities for children ages 2 to 14. Curated by our Children’s Leader, Debs Applin.

This activity is available by donation

An e-book of pick & mix activities to suit a range of ages, abilities + preferences! Some activities include video demonstrations and print-ready crafts.

Description:
This week we are looking at a story of a group of friends who had faith that Jesus would heal their friend. They went to extreme lengths to put their friend in Jesus’ path.

These activities will help the children to understand that Faith is not believing that God can but knowing that God WILL. Even though we cannot see Him face to face on the earth, we can trust Him in all things. We also want the children to have faith in the promise that Jesus gave when He said that we would do all that He did and far greater. When we ask for things in Jesus’ name, He will answer ‘Yes’ if it brings glory to Father God (John 14:12-13) If Jesus did miracles from a distance, then so can we (no matter what our age, because Holy Spirit is the same age in all of us. There is no junior Holy Spirit) too. Although Faith is a gift, we need to steward/take care of it so that it will grow.

BONUS: This session contains an activity demo video + an extra teaching experiment based on the theme of Faith!
